Manor Farm Barn

Manor Farm Barn is an 18th-century barn conversion facing a courtyard in Dewlish, near Piddletrenthide. It has eight bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and sleeps up to fifteen. Seven rooms are on the first floor: three doubles, three twins and a single. The eighth, a twin, is on the ground floor. Some en-suites have a bath with a hand-held shower and the rest a shower.

The rooms have flagstone floors, exposed beams and brickwork. The farmhouse kitchen has a range cooker with a gas hob, two fridge/freezers, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a tumble dryer, and it has underfloor heating. There is also a dining room, and the large sitting room has a fire. The house has oil central heating with a woodburning stove, and fuel, power, a starter pack for the fire, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. A cot and highchair are available.

Outside is an enclosed garden with seating areas, a barbecue and outdoor furniture, and ample off-road parking. Guests share a heated outdoor pool that is open from 15 April to 15 October, and use a games room in a separate building with table tennis, a pool table and table football. An electric vehicle charging point is paid for through an app. The pub is across the road, 0.2 miles away, and the shop is 1.8 miles.

Three well-behaved dogs are welcome, smoking is not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. Catering can be arranged beforehand, and the games room can be turned into a conference room. Booked with Churn House, the two sleep 23, and the enclosed garden is not fenced off between them, though each has its own area. It suits a large family gathering or a group celebrating together.
