Moles Cottage

Moles Cottage is a thatched former shooting lodge in Farnham, within the Cranborne Chase National Landscape, with Shaftesbury the nearby town for days out. Sixpenny Handley is 4.1 miles away. A pub is 0.1 miles from the cottage, and the nearest shop is 1.8 miles.

The cottage sleeps sixteen across eight king-size bedrooms on three floors. Two are on the ground floor and four on the first, where two can be set as twins on request. The last two are on the second floor. Every bedroom has its own en-suite: wet rooms for four of them, a bath for two more, and on the second floor a rolltop bath in the bedroom with an en-suite cloakroom. A separate cloakroom is on the ground floor.

The open-plan living space joins a kitchen with a gas Rangemaster double oven, a dishwasher and a washer/dryer to a dining area and a sitting area with an open fire. Fuel, power and a starter pack for the fire are included, along with bed linen and towels. There is a Smart TV, a DVD player and WiFi. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate can be requested. The rear garden is enclosed and multi-level, with gravel, lawn and furniture.

Off-road parking takes seven cars, and there is one step up to the entrance hallway. Up to four well-behaved pets are welcome. The cottage is non-smoking and a bond is payable. It suits a large family gathering or several couples, with dogs if they like, who are happy with stairs across three floors.
