Barn Close Farm

Barn Close Farm is a refurbished cottage with a slate roof in Morcombelake, sleeping six. The enclosed garden has a lawn and furniture, and guests also have access to 15 acres of hill farmland. The shop is 0.7 miles away and the pub is 1.6 miles. Countryside walks start from the doorstep.

There are three bedrooms: a super-king-size with its own TV, a double with sloping ceilings, and a twin with storage. They share one bathroom with a bath and a shower over, and there is also a separate WC with a basin.

The dining and sitting room has a woodburning stove, and the cottage has oil heating as well. Fuel, power and a starter pack for the stove are included, along with bed linen and towels. The kitchen has an oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a coffee machine. There is also a utility room, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Two TVs, Sky and WiFi are provided.

Off-road parking is for three cars. No pets and no smoking are allowed. IR-triggered spotlights cover the parking area and the path round the house, and outdoor security cameras are fitted but stay inactive while guests are in residence unless they ask beforehand. It suits a family or a group of adults who want space, a garden and walking from the door.
