Single-storey glass-fronted lodge for two with a private hot tub

Glass House is a single-storey lodge for two in Blandford Forum, built around one full wall of glass that lets daylight into the main room. The kitchen, dining area, sitting area and double bedroom all share that open-plan space, so the bed sits in the main room. The shower room next to it has a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer and a coffee maker, and there is a TV and WiFi. Central heating is fitted, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

The private garden is enclosed and holds a gravelled area, furniture, a barbecue and the hot tub. Parking for one car is off the road, with extra space on site that is first come, first served. Guests can also visit the wider estate, vineyard and games area on the same site. The pub is 0.5 miles away, the shop 1.5 miles.

Pets and smoking are not allowed. A later check-out or earlier check-in, both at 12pm, can be arranged for a fee if there is availability. The lodge suits a couple who want a hot tub and a single open room rather than separate bedrooms, and it can also be combined with the larger house on the same site, which brings the total to ten guests.
