Mill House

Mill House is a Grade II listed house over three floors in Maiden Newton, next to the village's historic mill. Its six bedrooms are a super-king-size, a king-size, two doubles and two twins, which together sleep twelve. Three of the rooms keep a feature fireplace: one of the doubles and both twins.

Downstairs, the sitting room and the snug each have an open fire, and the large kitchen/diner has an AGA oven and hob alongside a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine. A games room has a pool table, and the house also keeps a selection of books, games and DVDs, with WiFi and a Freeview TV. Heating is electric storage plus the open fireplaces. Bathrooms are one with a shower over the bath and a bidet, one with a roll-top bath and a separate shower, and a shower room.

Doors from the sitting room and the snug lead to a large enclosed garden with a patio and a barbecue area, beside the stream that feeds the mill. Parking is for three cars, and any extra vehicles can be left free of charge in the village. The shop and pub are both within 0.1 miles. A cot and a highchair are available, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, and smoking is not allowed. The house cannot accept Sunday arrivals. It suits two or three families, or a big group of friends, who want a games room and open fires under one roof.
