One-bedroom stable conversion on one level, no pets

Primrose is a holiday cottage in a converted stable on a countryside estate at the edge of Blandford Forum. It is all on one level: an open-plan room holding the kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area, one double bedroom with a TV of its own, and a shower room. It sleeps two.

The shower room has a walk-in shower, a basin, a heated towel rail and a WC. Cooking is electric, with an oven and hob, plus a microwave and a coffee machine, and there is a fridge and a freezer too. A Smart TV, Freeview and WiFi are in place, and central heating is fitted. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

At the front, a patio comes with furniture and a barbecue. Guests can also use the estate's 28 acres of woodland, Downwood Vineyard and a games area. Parking is off-road. A shop is 1.5 miles off and a pub 0.4 miles.

No pets are accepted, and Primrose is non-smoking. It suits a couple who want a self-contained one-bedroom base with somewhere outdoors to cook and eat, and no animal to bring along. Primrose is one of several units on the estate that can be reserved together, for a group of up to 36 guests.
