Bridport’s streets become a catwalk for the Bridport Hat Festival, which the organiser gives a provisional date of Saturday 4 September 2027. The main day is known locally as Haturday, and the whole town turns out wearing something on its head.
The Fun Hat Competition runs through the town, and the mass hatted photograph is taken in Bucky Doo Square. All day, the HatFest Garden Party at Millennium Green offers food, drink and entertainment. Across the festival you will find live music, competitions, demonstrations, talks, a hat auction, games and hatted dogs, plus street performers.
