Barton Cottage

Two double bedrooms at the top of the stairs sleep four at Barton Cottage, a converted farm building on the outskirts of Bridport. The ground floor is one open-plan space for the kitchen, dining area and sitting area, with the shower room on the same floor: a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC. The bedrooms are both up the stairs.

The kitchen has an oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a washing machine, and there is a TV, a DVD player and WiFi. Heating is oil-fired central heating. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent, along with basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, hand soap and loo roll. A travel cot, stairgate and highchair are available on request.

The patio is enclosed and furnished, and parking is off-road for one car. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The nearest shop is 3.4 miles away and the nearest pub 1.4 miles. Road noise is to be expected, and the cottage sits in a dimly lit area at night,.

Smoking is not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. It suits two couples or a small family, with room for one dog. Walks start from a footpath in the field.
