Grazeland Cottage

Grazeland is an annexe beside the owners' home, in the Dorset countryside a short drive from Bridport. The accommodation is all on the ground floor apart from one bedroom, which has a small step up. The kitchen, with a breakfast table, overlooks the rear patio and an attached six-acre paddock, and the sitting room/diner leads into a south-facing conservatory with doors to the garden.

Two bedrooms sleep four: a double, with a separate hand basin and WC, and a twin. The shower room is reached through the utility room. There is oil central heating, a gas wood-burning-effect stove in the sitting room, an electric heater in the conservatory, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer and a Smart TV, for which guests need their own streaming log-ins. WiFi, a cot, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

The garden has a covered pond, a patio with furniture and a barbecue. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome and can be exercised in a small enclosed yard, and guests may use the other gardens and the field where the owners' dog, cats and chickens roam freely. Dogs should not be left alone inside. Parking is off the road, and the Shave Cross pub is 2 miles away. Bookings change over on Saturday only. It suits a couple or family with dogs who want a rural stay.
