Colly Cottage

Colly Cottage is a self-contained wing of the owners' thatched, Grade II listed farmhouse, which dates from 1780 and stands in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near the hamlet of Dottery. The wing was made from the farmhouse's former stable and hayloft. It is 1.5 miles from Bridport, and the shop and pub are the same distance.

There are two bedrooms, each with a TV and its own en-suite. The ground-floor room has a super king-size bed, zip/linked and available as twins on request, with a bath, hand-held shower, basin and WC. The king-size room has an en-suite shower. The open-plan living area joins the kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a flame-effect electric fire, and oil central heating keeps it warm. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a washing machine and a dishwasher, and WiFi is available. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power are included in the rent.

Outside is a small enclosed patio with furniture, plus a terrace at the side of the property, and there is bike storage. Parking is off the road for two cars, and the owner's tennis court can be used by arrangement. One well-behaved dog is welcome; smoking is not allowed. Bookings are for whole weeks starting on a Friday. It suits two couples, or a family of four, who each want an en-suite, with one dog along.
