Amber Cottage

Amber Cottage is a converted farm building in a gated complex of 16 properties in Charmouth, with the beach, shops and pubs all within walking distance. It sleeps four in two bedrooms. No dogs are allowed.

Wooden flooring and plenty of daylight run through the cottage. The kitchen/diner has an integrated oven and gas hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer and a good-sized table. The lounge has a TV and DVD player and looks onto an enclosed patio through French doors, with a table and chairs set out there. Upstairs, a king-size double with its own TV and a twin room share the one bathroom, which has a shower over the bath and a WC. A second WC is on the ground floor.

Guests can use the covered, heated outdoor pool at the neighbouring holiday park, which is open on set dates through the season. The park also has a coffee shop and a children's play area. Adults over 18 can use the Char Valley Health Club, with its gym, indoor pool, sauna and steam room, for an extra charge.

Parking is on site, with arrivals between 4pm and 8pm. Short breaks are only available in off-peak weeks, and a refundable security deposit is payable nearer the holiday. A cot mattress and stairgates are not provided, and electric cars cannot be charged at the property. Wi-Fi comes through the park's club for an extra charge. The cottage suits a couple or a small family who want a pool nearby and the beach on foot.
