Backlands Farmhouse

Backlands Farmhouse sits in the village of Charmouth, reached down a quiet lane back from the main street. The shop and pub are each 0.1 mile away and the beach 0.5 miles. The living room has an inglenook fireplace with exposed beams and a woodburning stove, with fuel and a starter pack included. There is also a snug, a kitchen/dining room and a utility room.

Appliances include an induction hob, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a Nespresso machine, although coffee pods are not supplied. The three bedrooms are on the first floor and sleep four guests, across two doubles and a single. A family bathroom with a bath and shower over is on the same level, and a shower room with a walk-in shower is on the ground floor. Bed linen and towels are included.

The rear garden is enclosed, with a patio and furniture, and steps lead down to the garden and front entrance. Off-road parking suits one large family estate car or two small cars up to 4.3 metres long. Children under 5 are not accepted, pets are not allowed and neither is smoking. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am. It suits a couple or a family with school-age children who want a village base within walking distance of the beach.
