Blue Haze

Blue Haze is a converted farm building for four on a gated complex of 16 properties in Charmouth, a short walk from the beach, the pubs and the shops. Oak flooring and neutral decoration run through it.

The kitchen has an integrated oven and gas hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer and a dishwasher, while a separate utility room holds the washer/dryer. The open-plan lounge and diner looks over a private patio that has garden furniture, and at the far end sofas face the TV and DVD player. Two bedrooms are upstairs: a king-size with a TV, and a twin that suits children. They share a bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC. On the ground floor there is a wet room with a WC.

Guests can use the covered, heated outdoor pool at the neighbouring holiday park, which is open on set dates through the season. The coffee shop and children's play area are on the same park, and the Char Valley Health Club (gym, indoor pool, sauna, steam room) takes over-18s for an extra charge.

Parking is on site. Check-in runs from 4pm to 8pm, and short breaks are only available in off-peak weeks. A refundable security deposit is payable nearer the date. The cot mattress and stairgates are not supplied, electric cars cannot be charged at the cottage, and no dogs are allowed. The club Wi-Fi costs extra. The cottage suits a couple, or parents with a child or two, who want two bathrooms and a pool nearby.
