Church Knowle Cottage

Church Knowle Cottage is in the village of Church Knowle, near Corfe Castle. The village pub is 20 metres away, the shop is 2 miles off and the nearest beach is 3.5 miles. It sleeps four in two double bedrooms upstairs, sharing one bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC. It suits two couples, or a small family, who like a pub on the doorstep.

Guests enter through the rear patio doors straight into the open-plan kitchen and dining area, which has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher. The lounge has a Smart TV and a wood burner, with the first basket of logs provided. Internet access is included. The cottage has a private water supply, and the stairs are steep.

The enclosed rear garden has a lawn and a furnished patio. The ground is uneven and there is a small, unfenced pond. The path around the side of the house is shared with the neighbours. Parking is free and on the street outside and across the road, but not in front of the neighbouring Higher Barracks houses. Alternatively, guests can use the lane to the pub car park, parking on the right-hand side at least 5 metres from the entrance; a permit from the pub is needed. Spaces are subject to availability. Dogs are not allowed. Arrival is from 4pm and departure is before 10am.
