Little Wickers

Little Wickers is a thatched, terraced cottage in the village of Corfe Castle, sleeping four in two bedrooms. One has twin single beds. The other has a king-size bed with an en-suite shower, basin and WC. A ground-floor bathroom adds a bath with a shower over, plus a basin and WC.

The kitchen has a dining area and a fireplace with a gas log-burner effect stove, and the sitting room has a second stove of the same kind. Both are gas effect rather than real fires. A utility room, a washing machine, a dishwasher, an induction hob, an electric oven and a fridge with an ice box complete the kitchen side. There is a Smart TV and WiFi, gas central heating, and power, bed linen and towels are included.

French doors in the ground-floor bedroom open to the garden, which can also be reached from the lounge. It is well stocked with plants and flowers, and gardeners visit intermittently through the year for essential maintenance.

The cottage fronts the main Wareham to Swanage road, so secondary double glazing has been installed to cut road noise. Parking is by permit at a nearby public car park. A shop and a pub are each about 1 minute away. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome and smoking is not allowed. It suits a couple or two couples who want a village base with dogs.
