Dairy Cottage

Dairy Cottage is in Creech, near Corfe Castle, within the working farm grounds of a stately home. It has its own entrance door, which opens into a single open-plan room with the kitchen, a central dining table and a lounge area, where a Smart TV and a wood burner sit at the far end. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Internet access is included.

Stairs from the side of the room lead to a twin bedroom and, along the landing, a king-size bedroom, with the bathroom between them. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC. The cottage sleeps four, which suits two couples or a small family happy to be on a farm.

The enclosed rear garden has a paved patio with furniture and a lawn, with pastureland beyond. Livestock roam the fields, so it helps to know that before arriving. On some days gunfire can be heard from the army firing range near Lulworth. With prior consent, guests can arrange a space in a field for one or two horses or ponies. Two cars can park off the road. The pub and shop are 3 miles away and the beach 4 miles. Dogs are not allowed. Arrival is from 4pm and departure is before 10am.
