Fossil Cottage

Fossil Cottage sits in a gated complex of 16 properties in converted farm buildings in Charmouth, within walking distance of the beach, shops and pubs. Four people can stay, and no dogs are allowed.

The lounge has a TV, a DVD player and French doors that open onto an enclosed patio with a table and chairs. The kitchen/diner has an integrated oven and gas hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer and a dining table. The two bedrooms are upstairs: a king-size double with a TV, and a twin. They share the first-floor bathroom, which has a shower over the bath and a WC, and there is a further WC at ground level.

Guests can use the covered, heated outdoor pool at the neighbouring holiday park, which is open on set dates through the season. The coffee shop is there too, and adults over 18 can use the health club (gym, indoor pool, sauna and steam room) for an extra charge. Wi-Fi is also an extra charge.

Arrival is between 4pm and 8pm and parking is on site. Short breaks are only possible in off-peak weeks, and a refundable security deposit is payable closer to the stay. Cot mattresses and stairgates are not provided. Electric cars cannot be charged at the cottage. It suits a couple, or two friends travelling together, who want a patio and a pool close by.
