Southwood Terrace

Southwood Terrace is a ground-floor flat in Southbourne, on the edge of Bournemouth. It sleeps four, in a double bedroom and a twin room whose zip-and-link beds can be made up as a super-king-size on request. The one bathroom has a shower over the bath. The designated parking space is beside the front door, so luggage does not travel far.

Lounge, kitchen and dining area share one open-plan room with a glass door that slides open and a Smart TV. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, an air fryer and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine. A travel cot and highchair can be had on request.

There is no private outside space, only a bench at the front of the building. Bikes, surfboards and other gear go in a shared storage room. EV charging is available on site: it is a type 2, 7kW, untethered charger, and guests pay for it directly through an app.

Two dogs are allowed, and extra charges may apply. The beach is 100 metres away, the pub 300 metres and the shop 500 metres. Check-in is from 16:00 and departure is before 10:00. It suits a couple or two friends with a dog or two who want the sand close and no garden to look after.
