8 Driftwood

8 Driftwood is a first-floor apartment in a contemporary building in West Bay, with a small south-facing balcony. Children need supervising on the balcony at all times. Wooden flooring runs throughout the open-plan space, which combines the kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area.

The double and twin bedrooms both have plenty of storage, so four can stay. A single bathroom has a bath, a basin and a WC. The kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave and a fridge with an icebox, and the apartment also has a washing machine, a dishwasher and a hairdryer. Heating is gas central heating, and there is a smart TV, DVD player, CD player, radio and WiFi.

One car can park off-road. The shop and the pub are each 0.1 miles away, and nearby are the harbour and beaches, the Jurassic Fun Centre, Sladders Yard Gallery, West Dorset golf club and the town of Bridport. Lyme Regis Fossil Bay is a short distance away. You do not pay extra for fuel, power, bed linen or towels. It is a no-pets, non-smoking apartment.

It suits a couple with two children, or two couples, who want a flat they can park at and a south-facing balcony.
