Alice Cottage - Corfe Castle

Alice Cottage is within 200 metres of the castle ruins in Corfe Castle. The pub is 90 metres away, the shop 300 metres, and the nearest beach 5 miles. Upstairs are a double bedroom and a single bedroom, and a family bathroom with a bath and shower attachment.

The living room has ceiling beams, wooden latch doors and a brick chimney breast, with a wood burner-effect electric fire and a Smart TV with Roku. A step up leads to the kitchen and dining area, which has an electric oven, a halogen hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. Beyond it, the utility room holds a washing machine and a separate WC. A travel cot and highchair can be had on request, and internet access is included.

French doors lead out to the enclosed courtyard garden at the back. There are two seating areas, one level with the kitchen and the other up some steps. The cottage has no parking of its own: spaces on the road opposite are first come, first served, with more on a nearby side road, all subject to availability. Dogs are not allowed. It suits a couple who plan to walk to the pub and the castle and can manage without a drive. Arrival is from 4pm and departure is before 10am.
