Brickyard Cottage

Brickyard Cottage is a traditionally built cottage in the village of Moreton, with cottage-style doors, a kitchen, a utility room and a sitting/dining room. The two bedrooms are upstairs: a double, and a room with a single bed and a pull-out stacker bed. The cottage is limited to four people, and the bathroom has a bath with a shower over, a basin and a WC.

The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, a microwave, a freezer and a washing machine, and there is a separate utility room. There is a DVD player, WiFi and a selection of books. Heating is electric central heating, and the system runs on a set timer from 1 October to 1 March, though the owner can adjust it on request. The fire in the front room is not in use. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included, and a cot is available.

At the back, the garden has furniture, a small furnished patio and a summer house. Parking is on the roadside in the lane outside the cottage. The Frampton Arms is a five-minute walk, the nearest shop is a mile away, and Moreton station has direct trains to Weymouth and London.

Arrivals are on Saturdays only. No pets are allowed and smoking is not permitted. The cottage suits a family of four who want a village base with a pub and a station close by.
