Blackbird Barn

Blackbird Barn is a two-bedroom home in the village of Winfrith Newburgh, near Moreton. A beamed hallway leads through to the dining area, kitchen and lounge, and the lounge has an open fire in an exposed stone inglenook, with logs provided, along with a piano, a Smart TV with DVD and Netflix. It sleeps 4.

The kitchen is built around a traditional AGA, with an electric oven and hob, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher and a microwave. The washing machine and dryer are in the garage rather than in the house. Upstairs there is a king-size bedroom with a TV and a twin that can be made up as a super-king when requested at booking. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC, and a second WC is on the ground floor. Central heating and electricity are included and so is Wi-Fi.

French windows from the lounge open onto an enclosed courtyard at the back, where there is a BBQ and outdoor furniture. The front garden is open and laid to lawn. Parking is off-road for one car, and the garage holds another small or medium-sized car. The shop is 100 metres away and the pub 0.5 miles.

Two dogs are allowed, with an additional charge possible. The barn suits two couples or a small family who want a fire to sit by and a kitchen to cook in.
