Corfe View Cottage - Corfe Castle

Corfe View Cottage is a semi-detached house on a residential no-through road in Corfe Castle, reached by a driveway and a single step into the entrance hall. Two of its rooms, the lounge and the dining room, look across the countryside to the castle ruins. It sleeps six in three bedrooms, two doubles and a twin. The bathroom has a shower over the bath but no WC; there are two separate WCs, one off the kitchen and one beside the bathroom.

The lounge has an open fire, with the first basket of logs included, and a TV. The kitchen has a range-style oven, a gas hob, a microwave and a dishwasher. Next to it, a utility room holds a washing machine, a tumble dryer and an American-style fridge/freezer. Internet access is included. A shop and a pub are within walking distance, and the nearest beach is 5 miles away.

A door from the kitchen opens to the back garden, which is enclosed and has a patio, steps up to a lawn and garden furniture. Care is needed with young children in the garden. The rear gate leads onto the footpath to Corfe Common. Off-road parking at the front takes two cars. Up to three dogs are welcome, with additional charges. It suits a family or a group of friends with dogs who want to walk straight out onto the common. Arrival is from 4pm and departure is before 10am.
