Lodge 1

Lodge 1 sits on a park in Corfe Castle, and its decking holds furniture and a hot tub. The open-plan main room combines the kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area, where a woodburning stove is fitted. Fuel, power and a starter pack for the stove are included in the rent, along with bed linen and towels. A shop and pub are 2.8 miles away.

Six people sleep across three bedrooms: a king-size with an en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, plus two twin rooms. A separate bathroom has a bath with a shower over. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer and dishwasher, and there are central heating, a TV, WiFi and a DVD player. A cot and highchair can be requested, though infants count towards the party size and each item carries an extra charge per stay.

Two well-behaved pets are welcome and smoking is not allowed. Parking is off the road. The barbecue stand takes disposable barbecues only, so bring your own or buy one from the shop on site. Anyone arriving after 6pm should phone ahead to arrange key collection. The lodge suits a family or a group of friends of up to six who want a hot tub, a stove and room for pets.
