Lodge 19

Everything social at Lodge 19 happens upstairs: the kitchen, a dining table for six, a sitting room with a woodburning stove, and a balcony with decking, furniture and a hot tub. The lodge is reverse-level, on the outskirts of Corfe Castle, and it sleeps six.

Two of the three bedrooms are ground-floor twins that share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with a bath and a shower over it, and one of them has zip/link beds that can be made up as a king-size on request. The third is a king-size bedroom on the first floor with an en-suite shower room. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine and air fryer.

Fuel, power and a starter pack for the stove are included, as are bed linen and towels, and bathrobes and toiletries are available. There is a TV, WiFi, central heating and off-road parking. A cot and highchair can be arranged; infants count towards the party number and each costs extra per stay. Sauna and cold plunge facilities can be added for an additional fee, subject to availability. Barbecues must be disposable ones. Pets and smoking are not allowed. Call ahead for key collection if you will arrive after 6pm, and note that the shop and pub are 2.8 miles away. This lodge suits six people, such as a family or friends, who are happy with a staircase between the ground-floor twins and the kitchen.
