Cove Cottage Hideaway

Cove Cottage Hideaway is a one-bedroom cottage in Chiswell, a village on the Isle of Portland. The shop, pub and beach are each 0.2 miles away, and the New Star Inn, The Cove House Inn and The Little Ship are all on the doorstep. The beach has golden sands, there are paddleboarding spots nearby, and the Royal Manor Theatre is in the village.

Inside, an open-plan living and dining space sits beside a kitchen with an oven, hob, microwave and fridge, and there is a conservatory. Television, WiFi and a selection of books are provided. The shower room has a walk-in shower and a heated towel rail. The staircase in the cottage is spiral, so take care on it. Central heating is fitted, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

At the back, the enclosed garden has an artificial lawn, a patio, decking, furniture and a hammock. For the car, there is a free public car park, or you can park by the roadside. Pets and smoking are not allowed. It suits a couple, or two friends sharing a double bed, who want a small base with a garden and a beach on the doorstep.
