Millmead House Annex

Millmead House Annex is a holiday annex in the village of Portesham for 2 guests. The shop, pub and cafe are all within easy walking distance. The enclosed garden has a patio and a lawn, and off-road parking is available for one car.

Inside, the open-plan living space brings together the kitchen, the dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. The kitchen has an oven, a hob, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle and a toaster. There is a TV, WiFi and central heating. The one double bedroom shares a bathroom with a bath, a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

A starter pack for the stove is provided between 1 October and 31 March, and guests need to buy their own logs, kindling and firelighters. Arrivals are on Fridays and Mondays only. From 1 July to 30 September the minimum stay is five nights. A bond is payable.

No pets and no smoking are allowed. The annex can be booked alongside Millmead House, which sleeps a further eight. It suits a couple who want a village base with a garden of their own and no dog.
