Seaview - Weymouth

Seaview is a two-storey cottage in a residential development at Preston, 2 miles from the centre of Weymouth. A private access path reaches the beach in about a minute on foot. A pub, restaurant, shop and the beach are all within 200 metres, and the waterfront complex at Bowleaze Cove is a 15-minute walk. Buses to Weymouth and along the coast run frequently.

The cottage is slightly tucked away within the development. The main bedroom upstairs is a double with an en-suite bathroom, a shower over the bath and views across Weymouth Bay to Portland. There is a height restriction at the sides of the dormer window. The twin bedroom is downstairs, beside a shower room with a WC and basin.

The compact living area downstairs combines a lounge with a drop-leaf folding table and chairs, and a kitchen with an electric oven and induction hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a fridge and a small freezer in the hall cupboard. A fan is available.

Patio doors lead to a picnic bench and a garden bench on the patio, which catches the sun. The patio is not enclosed on all sides and has a short drop at the back. A video doorbell at the front door records anyone approaching. One car can park off-road, and the way in from the car is by a sloping walkway or steps. The cottage does not take dogs. Seaview suits a couple or small family, and it can be booked with the neighbouring cottage for four more.
