Two-bedroom village cottage for four, with a long fenced garden

Tavern Way is a cottage on the main road through Corfe Castle, and the ruined castle is only a couple of minutes from the property. Secondary double glazing has been fitted to cut the traffic noise. A shop and pub are 5 minutes away.

Two bedrooms sleep four: a double and a twin. The bathroom is on the ground floor and has a bath with a shower over it, a basin and a WC. The wooden cottage stairs are slightly steep. There is a galley kitchen with an electric oven and hob, a fridge and a washing machine, and a sitting room with a dining area, a television, WiFi and a selection of books. Night storage heating is fitted, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. A cot is available and guests bring their own cot linen.

The garden is long and fenced, with a lawn that runs out to open fields and furniture to sit at. A gardener calls in from time to time. Parking is at the roadside for one vehicle only and depends on a space being free. Stays must be at least four nights, and the maximum is four people. Smoking is not allowed.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. The cottage suits a couple, or a family of four with a dog, who can live with a single roadside parking space.
