The Boardwalk

The Boardwalk is a first-floor apartment in the Quay West harbourside development at West Bay, the complex that features in the ITV drama Broadchurch. It was one of the show apartments there. You reach it by stairs or by lift, and the open-plan living area holds the kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area, with patio doors opening onto a balcony that gives partial views of the harbour.

There are 2 bedrooms, sleeping 4 guests. One is a double with its own en-suite shower room, and the other is a king-size that can be made up as twin beds. A separate bathroom has a bath and a hand-held shower. The kitchen has an oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a washer/dryer and a dishwasher, and the apartment has underfloor gas heating and WiFi. A travel cot and highchair can be supplied on request, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

The apartment has one allocated space in an underground car park, with a height restriction on vehicles, and the space measures 470 cm by 204 cm. Neither pets nor smoking are allowed. It suits a couple or two couples who want a harbour base with the coast path running east towards West Bexington and west towards Seatown.
