The Cheesehouse

The Cheesehouse is a five-bedroom family house in Litton Cheney that sleeps up to ten. The village pub is 0.1 mile away and the nearest shop 2.2 miles. Heating is oil-fired central heating, with fuel, power, bed linen and towels included in the rent.

The living space has a large sitting room with a gas fire, a kitchen/diner with a range oven, a utility room, a conservatory and a games room with a pool table, dart board and bar area. Alongside the oven, the appliances are a hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and wine cooler. There is a Smart TV and WiFi.

Three bedrooms are on the first floor: a super king-size with an en-suite walk-in shower, a double and a twin, plus a family bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower. Two twin rooms are on the ground floor, one with an en-suite, along with a ground-floor bathroom that has its own bath and walk-in shower. There is also a cloakroom. It suits a large family or two groups of friends who want room to spread out.

The enclosed rear garden has lawns and a patio seating area, and the front garden has a pond and stream that are not fenced, so supervise children and pets. Off-road parking takes up to four cars, and a Ring doorbell and a camera overlook the parking area. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and mess must be cleaned up. Check-in is from 4pm, check-out by 10am. Stays are four nights minimum, and in July and August they run for a minimum of seven days, Saturday to Saturday. A good housekeeping bond is payable.
