Haydon Barn - Askerswell

Haydon Barn is in the village of Askerswell, near West Bay and not far from Litton Cheney, on a private road in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It sleeps six. Upstairs are a double and two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom with a bath; the other bathroom is downstairs under the stairs, with a walk-in shower cubicle.

A forecourt leads to the entrance hall. The ground floor has a large lounge and dining room, with a desk, a dining table and a Smart TV with subscription services, plus a Hi-Fi. The kitchen can be reached from the lounge or the hall, and has an oven, an electric hob, a fridge/freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Heating is by oil-fired central heating, and Wi-Fi is available.

Outside is a private, enclosed courtyard with seating and a BBQ. The grounds belong to the owners, and guests can explore them: they include a stocked fishing pond. There is also a children's play area on site. Off-road parking is ample. The pub is within 0.5 miles, and the nearest shop is within 4 miles.

Dogs are not allowed. Check-in is from 16:30 and departure is before 10:00. It suits a family of up to six who want somewhere for children to play and walks nearby.
