Tithe Barn Cottage

Tithe Barn Cottage is a converted detached barn in Litton Cheney, beside the owners' own home but with a gated entrance and its own gravelled parking area. Parking takes two cars off the road. Burton Bradstock is 5 miles away, the pub 0.7 miles, a lake 0.9 miles and the nearest shop 4.8 miles.

Inside, the kitchen, dining area and sitting area share one open-plan room, with a breakfast bar, a dining table and a woodburning stove. Fuel, power and a starter pack for the stove are in the rent, as are bed linen and towels. Cooking is on an electric range oven with an induction hob, and there is a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. A Smart TV and WiFi complete it.

Two bedrooms are upstairs. One has a superking bed and the other a kingsize, and both are zip-and-link beds, so they can be made up as twins or small singles. A single shower room serves both, with a walk-in shower, basin, bidet and WC. A travel cot and highchair are supplied, so it suits a couple or a family of four with a young child.

The garden has a patio with furniture, and a small paddock with fruit trees; a gas barbecue is there for guests to use. One well-behaved dog is welcome. A good housekeeping bond is payable, and the cottage is no smoking.
