Wyncott Cottage - Corfe Castle

Wyncott Cottage is a Grade II listed house at the end of a lane in Corfe Castle. It has four bedrooms and sleeps six. On the ground floor is a single room with a pull-out single bed, which is for a child only; the bathroom, with a shower over the bath and a WC, is on this floor too. The first floor has a king-size master bedroom with a beamed ceiling, a double and a single, plus a shower room with a rainfall shower and a WC. The stairs up are steep and cottage-style, and the landing has motion-sensor lighting at floor level.

The ground-floor lounge has a beamed ceiling, a stone fireplace with a wood burner, a window seat and a TV with a DVD player. A conservatory gives a second sitting area. The kitchen and dining room has an oven, a hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher, and a separate utility room houses the washing machine. Three steps lead up from the dining area to a door onto the garden. Towels can be hired.

Patio doors from the dining room and the conservatory open onto a stone patio, and several steps rise from it to a large lawn. Garden furniture is provided, and a brick base takes disposable barbecues. Two cars park at the front of the house. A pub and a shop are within walking distance and the beach is 5.5 miles away. Dogs are not allowed. The house suits a family of up to six who want a child to sleep on the ground floor. Arrival is from 5pm and departure before 10am.
