1 Wellhayes is a semi-detached, single-storey bungalow on the seafront in Lyme Regis, looking out over the sandy beach at Marine Parade with uninterrupted views of the ocean. The living area is open plan, with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area, and the kitchen has a bar with stools.

French windows from the sitting area lead to a balcony with decking and furniture, partly sheltered from the rain. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge with an ice box and a washer/dryer, and the bungalow has electric heating. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power come with the rent, and guests pay a good-housekeeping bond.

The first bedroom is a double. The second room is a bunk room for children, and the bunks are unsuitable for anyone over 5ft 8in. There is one shower room with a walk-in shower.

Parking is an allocated space for one car in a private car park a short walk from the property. The access steps are steep. The bungalow is close to the Cobb, so there can be late-night events now and then. Up to two dogs are welcome; smoking is not allowed. The shop and the pub are 0.2 miles away. It suits a couple with one or two children, or a couple with dogs, who want a front-row seat on the bay.
