3 Argyle House

3 Argyle House is a renovated second-floor apartment in a period building overlooking Cobb Harbour and the sea, in Lyme Regis. The outside is clad in honeycomb tiles, and indoors there are no doors between the rooms. A sitting room through an archway has a mix of sofas, and the kitchen/diner has a central dining table with a dishwasher and washer/dryer.

The double bedroom has its bed set into an archway and large windows with sea views. A small staircase leads to the bunk room, which is very small and only suitable for young children, so the apartment takes at most two adults. The family bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower over. Heating is by night storage, and bed linen, towels, fuel and power come with the rent.

The apartment is reached by outside steps from the promenade and then an open indoor staircase, which may not suit anyone with mobility issues, so check the access against the needs of your party before booking. There is no outside space and no parking at the property: a public car park is a short walk away, payable on site and subject to availability.

The apartment takes no pets and is non-smoking. The shop and the pub are both 0.1 miles away, and the town's cafes, restaurants and craft shops are close by. It suits a couple, or a couple with young children, who want a harbour view, a pebble beach close at hand and no garden to look after.
