3 The Downs is a three-storey townhouse on a private development just out of the centre of Swanage. The beach, the pub and the shop are all less than 0.5 miles away, and Durlston Country Park is 1 mile. Two cars can park at the house.
The ground floor holds a utility room with a washing machine and a countertop freezer, a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC, and the first bedroom: a triple with a double lower bunk and a single on top, and its own TV. Upstairs, the open-plan living space has a Juliet balcony with sea views, a kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining table, comfortable seating, and a TV and DVD player, plus a coal-effect gas fire. The kitchen has a gas hob, an electric oven, a microwave, a fridge and a dishwasher. At the top of the house is a double bedroom with an en-suite that has a bath, a shower and a WC.
The townhouse has no outdoor space. A travel cot and a highchair are available, and you bring your own cot linen and beach towels. The townhouse is not open to dogs.
3 The Downs suits a family with younger children sleeping in the ground-floor bunk room.
