5B Bridge Street

5B Bridge Street is a Grade II listed apartment arranged over two floors, directly opposite the Guildhall and museum in Lyme Regis. A private entrance leads into a hall and up to the first floor, where the open-plan living and dining area has a wood burner, a Smart TV and views. Logs are not supplied, but they can be bought locally.

The rear kitchen has an electric oven and grill, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge with an ice box, a washing machine and a dishwasher. A shower room with a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC is also on the first floor. The second floor has two king-size bedrooms, both with sea views, and a third room with a single bed and an optional truckle that is for children only. The family bathroom up there has a bath with a shower over, a basin, a heated towel rail and a WC.

The staircase is older and steeper than in a newer building and some floors slope, which is something to keep in mind if anyone in the party has mobility concerns. There is no outside space, only an entrance foyer for wetsuits and paddleboards. Parking is by permit: one is provided for Woodmead Car Park, a short walk away, with spaces subject to availability. The shop and the pub are each 0.1 miles away.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, and smoking is not allowed. Gas central heating is fitted, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. A good-housekeeping bond is payable. It suits two couples, or a family whose youngest child can use the truckle.
