6 Coram Tower

6 Coram Tower is a second-floor apartment for two in Lyme Regis, in a grade II listed building that once belonged to sea captain Thomas Coram. The open-plan living area combines a kitchen, a dining area and a sofa, and traditional windows look over the town. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge with an ice box, a dishwasher and a washing machine.

The one bedroom has a double bed, a traditional window, an arched wall space, vintage furniture and old photographs. The bathroom has a bath with a hand-held shower. The rent covers electric heating, bed linen and towels, and a welcome hamper is waiting on arrival.

Outside there is a communal garden with a large lawn, and one car can be parked off the road. The apartment is on the second floor, so there are stairs to climb and it may not suit anyone with limited mobility. Smoking is not allowed and neither are pets.

It suits a couple who want a base in the resort, with the shop and the pub each 0.2 miles away. Lyme Regis Beach, Monmouth Beach and the Fossil Beach are among the pebble beaches in the area, and Langmoor and Lister Gardens are worth a visit.
