Ammonite

Ammonite is a blue wooden chalet at the edge of Monmouth Beach, in Lyme Regis. Its large decking area has furniture and sea views, and it is enclosed for the safety of children and the dog. Inside, the single-storey layout puts the kitchen, a dining area for four and the sitting area in one open-plan room.

The chalet sleeps four. The double bedroom is decorated in blues, and the second bedroom has a single bed with a pull-out truckle bed. There is no cot space. The one shower room has a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC. Heating is electric, and the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge with an ice box, a washing machine, a dishwasher and a coffee machine. Entertainment is a TV, a DVD player and WiFi, and the rent covers fuel, power, bed linen and towels.

The owner accepts one dog, and the chalet is non-smoking. Parking is off-road and includes a car port for one car. A shop and a pub are each 0.2 miles away, and the town's museums and marine aquarium are also in Lyme Regis.

It suits a couple, or a family of up to four, with one dog and a wish to be right beside Monmouth Beach.
