Baxter's Rise 30

Baxter's Rise 30 is one of a group of similar homes on a family-run lakeside estate at Crossways, near Dorchester and close to Warmwell. The ground floor is a single open-plan room with a lounge, a kitchen and a wooden dining table, and a wood burner takes pride of place. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge and a freezer, and a Smart TV sits in the lounge.

Upstairs are two double bedrooms. One has an en-suite shower room, and a separate bathroom with a shower over the bath is on the same floor. Both bedrooms open onto the balcony.

Bi-fold doors lead from the living area to a private garden with a small lawn, a decked terrace, outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ. Parking is for one car, with extra spaces in the on-site car park, and an EV charging point is provided. A restaurant and bar are on site, the shop is 1.5 miles away and the beach is 6.5 miles. The estate's pool, tennis court, sauna and spa can be used, and additional charges apply to them and to water sports and bike hire. Access to the pool and spa is payable on arrival. A damage deposit is paid direct to the site.

Up to three dogs are welcome, with additional charges that may apply. The lakes are unfenced, so children and dogs must be supervised at all times. Quiet hours run after 11pm, and stag and hen parties are not allowed. The home suits two couples, or a small family, who want a garden and an estate on the doorstep.
