Skyfall

Skyfall is a lakeside house at Crossways, near Dorchester and close to Warmwell, with a private hot tub on its decked terrace and a private jetty onto the lake. The terrace has outdoor seating and a BBQ. Bi-fold patio doors open the living room towards the water, where a wood burner, with an initial basket of logs, warms the sofa.

The kitchen has two single ovens, an induction hob, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher, and there is a Smart TV. Upstairs are three bedrooms. The king-size has an en-suite shower room and lake views, the second is a twin, and the third is a bunk room with a single bed over a double, where the top bunk is suitable for a child only. A first-floor balcony is reached from the king-size and the bunk bedroom. A family bathroom has a shower over the bath.

Parking is for one car, with extra parking in the main car park if needed. The shop and pub are 0.5 miles away and the beach is 6.5 miles. The estate shares its 25-metre heated outdoor pool, cold plunge, sauna and outdoor showers, a tennis court, fishing and an activity hub, and guests can use a beach private to the estate on the edge of Beaumont Lake. Pool and spa access is payable on arrival, and a refundable security deposit is paid direct to the site.

Quiet hours apply after 11pm, and hen and stag parties and work-related stays are not allowed. No dogs are allowed. The house suits a family or friends who want a hot tub and their own jetty on the water.
