Beaumont Village 28 stands in a waterside development at Crossways, near Dorchester and close to Warmwell. On the ground floor, French windows light an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining room, where a wood burner is supplied with a first basket of logs and a large central table doubles as an island. A second room is set aside as a TV room, and there is a utility room with a washer and dryer, plus a shower room.

The first floor holds the three bedrooms. Two are doubles, each with its own en-suite shower room and French doors onto a private balcony, and the third is a bunk bedroom. A second staircase climbs to a roof terrace with views towards Beaumont Lake and the hills around it. The kitchen has an induction cooker, an electric oven, a dishwasher and a fridge/freezer, and there is a Smart TV.

Outside, French doors from the main room lead to an enclosed, furnished decked space with a BBQ. Parking is for one car outside the property, with further spaces in the site's main car park. The shop is 1 mile away, the pub 3.5 miles and the beach 5.5 miles. Guests have access to a shared spa, a rooftop bar, a private beach and water sports. Pool and spa access is a separate charge, payable on arrival, and a refundable security deposit is paid direct to the site.

No dogs are allowed. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is before 10am. The house suits a family of up to six, or friends sharing, who like a bit of space and a roof terrace.
