Hobby House

Hobby House is a three-bedroom home on a holiday estate at Crossways, near Dorchester and close to Warmwell. Each bedroom is a king-size zip-and-link that can be made up as twins by arrangement, and each has its own en-suite: one with a bath and WC, two with showers and WCs. There is one additional WC.

The ground floor is a single open-plan room of kitchen, lounge and dining area, with a breakfast bar, a dedicated bar area, a wood burner (the first basket of logs is supplied) and a wall-mounted Smart TV. The kitchen has a gas hob, a double oven, a fridge/freezer, a microwave and a dishwasher, and a utility room and a WC sit alongside. Patio doors open to the enclosed garden, which has a table and chairs, and two of the upstairs bedrooms open onto a balcony with seating that looks over the nature reserve.

A Ring doorbell operates at the property, so an owner may be able to see guests entering and leaving. Private parking is directly outside and holds several cars, and an EV charging point is provided. The shop is 0.5 miles away, the pub 1.5 miles and the beach 5 miles. The estate's sauna, spa, outdoor pool and tennis courts are on site, and sessions need to be booked at reception. Access to the pool and spa is payable on arrival, and a refundable security deposit is paid direct to the site.

No dogs are allowed. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is before 10am. The house suits three couples, or friends who each want their own en-suite room and an enclosed garden.
