Vinney Cottage

Vinney Cottage is a thatched cottage on a country lane in Owermoigne, near Lulworth and close to Warmwell, on the edge of the Dorset National Landscape. It has stone-flagged floors, low beams and exposed brickwork. A farm shop and petrol station are within 0.25 miles, the shop is 1 mile and the pub 2.5 miles. The beach is 3 miles on foot or 5 miles by car, and a waymarked footpath leads to the coast.

A double bedroom sits just off the entrance hall. The lounge has an inglenook fireplace with a wood burner, supplied with a first basket of logs, and a Smart TV, and a small step leads up to a sunroom that looks onto the lawn. At the back are a galley kitchen with an electric oven and hob, a microwave and a washing machine, and a dining area. A few steps lead up to the one bathroom, which has a shower over the bath. A steep, winding staircase climbs to a second double and a single.

The enclosed garden has a lawn, a patio and furniture, and the garage next to the property gives secure storage for surfboards and bikes. Parking is outside the garage next to the cottage.

Up to two dogs are welcome, with additional charges. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is before 10am. The cottage suits a family or group of up to five who are comfortable with a small step to the sunroom, steps to the bathroom and a steep staircase.
