Brook House

Brook House is a detached family house in Winfrith Newburgh, near Moreton. It sleeps 9 across five bedrooms and three bathrooms, and most of what it offers is aimed at groups with children. The garden holds a rustic play area with a tree house, climbing wall, swing, slide, mud kitchen and a sunken trampoline.

Guests come in from the parking area through the rear garden and a boot room. The kitchen and dining room has an electric AGA, switched off from June to September, as well as an electric oven and induction hob, an American-style fridge/freezer with ice machine and a dishwasher. Next to it are a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a conservatory with a grapevine across the ceiling. There is a playroom with a games console and Smart TV, a snug with a wood burner and football table, and a lounge with another wood burner. Logs are included from October to April.

Two king-size bedrooms, a twin and a bunk room are on the first floor, along with the main bathroom, and one king-size has a Juliet balcony and an en-suite with a freestanding bath. The single bedroom is on the ground floor opposite a shower room. The bunk room has restricted headroom and is for under 16s, so it takes children rather than adults. A cot and highchair are available on request.

Outside, the patio has an outdoor kitchen with a gas BBQ, a wood-fired pizza oven and loungers. The games room beside the drive has table tennis and air hockey, and the gated parking area has space for three cars and an electric vehicle charging point. Dogs are not allowed. It suits two families or a multigenerational group who want space indoors and out.
