Church View

Church View is a duplex apartment over the first and second floors of a historic building in Lyme Regis. The first floor is an open-plan living area with black-painted roof beams, an ornamental fireplace, a sitting area, a dining table and a small kitchen. The kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave and a fridge with an ice box. There are two TVs, a DVD player, a selection of books and WiFi, and the apartment has gas heating.

Both bedrooms are on the second floor. The double is reached along a white-painted corridor and has high ceilings, stone walls and roof beams. The second is a single with a pull-out truckle bed. The shower-room has a shower cubicle, a basin and a WC. A washer/dryer is located in the outhouse. Fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

One permit for Woodmead Halls car park on Hill Road, within 5 minutes' walk, is supplied, with no allocated space and subject to availability. The outside space at the back of the building is not part of the let. Because of uneven flooring and steep stairs, the apartment may not suit the elderly or young children. In the summer months the restaurant below operates as a bar with background music from 5pm to 10.30pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, so expect some noise.

A good-housekeeping bond is payable, and pets and smoking are not allowed. A shop is 0.3 miles away and a pub 0.1 miles. It suits a couple, or a couple with one or two children, who are sure on their feet.
