Clouseau Cottage

Clouseau Cottage is one of six holiday lets in a converted stone barn, about a mile from Lyme Regis, and it sleeps four. The walk into town crosses fields and follows the riverbank, and the way back is a steep walk. Shops, pubs and the beach are all 1 mile away.

Three steps lead to the front door and into an open-plan living space, with a dining table that seats four, a Smart TV with a DVD player and an electric fire in the style of a wood burner. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Upstairs are a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and the one bathroom, which has a shower over the bath. Parts of the first floor have restricted head height.

Outside, an enclosed private patio has outdoor seating and looks over the shared lawn. The shared grounds also hold picnic tables and an unfenced pond, which matters if you are bringing young children. Parking is private and off-road, for one car. A highchair and a cot are available.

Dogs are not allowed. The cottage suits a family, or two friends sharing, who want a double and a twin, one bathroom and a table for four.
