Coastguards Cottage

Coastguards Cottage sits above West Fleet, about a mile from the village of Langton Herring. It sleeps six in three bedrooms: a double on the ground floor, and a king-size and a twin upstairs. Dogs are not allowed. It suits a family or a group of friends who want a downstairs bedroom, and it can be booked alongside another property that sleeps a further two guests.

The living area is open plan, with a dining space and two lounge areas. One has a wood burner and Smart TV, and the other is a snug with picture windows and views. A skylight lights the kitchen, which has a double fan oven, a grill, an electric hob, a dishwasher, a fridge freezer and a drinks fridge, with a washing machine in the utility area. A welcome pack is provided. There are two bathrooms: a ground-floor shower room, and a first-floor family bathroom with a P-shaped bath with a shower over it.

Glass doors lead onto a wide terrace with a picnic bench, and the back garden has seating, outdoor furniture and a herb garden. Parking is private, for 2 cars, and EV charging is available on site. The track in is uneven, gravel and unmade, so it is unsuitable for low vehicles. A travel cot and highchair are available, but bring your own cot linen and beach towels.

The pub is 0.5 miles away. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is before 10am.
