St Anthony's Cottage - Langton Herring

St Anthony's Cottage is a terraced house in Langton Herring with three bedrooms: a super-king, a double and a ground-floor twin that can be made up as a king if you ask when booking. Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges possible. It suits a family of up to six, or two couples, who want a dog-friendly base with one bedroom downstairs.

The lounge has an inglenook fireplace with a wood burner (the first basket of logs is included from October to April) and a Smart TV. The split-level kitchen diner has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge freezer and a dishwasher, and the utility room holds a washing machine and a tumble dryer. A travel cot and highchair are available. There are two bathrooms: a shower room with WC off the rear hallway, and a bathroom with a shower over the bath in the eaves.

The staircase to the first floor is steep, and a further steep flight climbs to the top bathroom. Because of the age of the building, head height is restricted in places, so taller guests should watch their heads. A door from the rear hallway opens to the garden, which has two patio areas with furniture, a fire pit, a lawn and cottage-style borders. Parking is one off-road space behind the house, and the water supply is private.

The pub is within 1 mile, the nearest shop is 3 miles away and the beach is within walking distance. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is before 10am.
